How To Keep The Fitted Sheet From Coming Off

At least two nights a week our kids wake us up in the middle of the night saying the fitted sheet keeps coming off the bed or "MOM? DAD? I NEED YOOOUUUU….. MOM? DAD? MY SHEEEEETTTTT…." (just loud enough to wake the other three kids and our puppy.) We check out their rooms and sure enough, their fitted sheet has come off in the corner and is jumbled in the middle of the bed… again. We just want them to sleep until the morning (don't all parents want this?)

Solutions we tried:

We have tried to buy tighter fitting sheets.
We have tried to buy bigger sheets that fit further underneath the bed.
We have tried the bands (those little bed suspenders), but they end up stretching out so much that they aren't helping anymore.

One day my wife had a package delivered for QuickZip sheets. She got them because they were going to be an easy way for the kids to make their own beds and because we have a bed-wetter and she needed a quicker way to change the sheets in the middle of the night.

We put the mattress pad and the sheets on all of the kids beds, because they come in every size (even crib sized, which we ended up ordering for my wife's cousin's new baby, Lucas. We got him the gray dotted ones.) and when we woke up the next morning without any sheet complaints, we thought we might be onto something. Night # 2… same thing. Night #3… again – no complaining or waking up.

I had to share it with you because these were perfect for the kid's beds. Plus, my wife always asks me to change the sheets on our son's bunk beds because they are so hard to change and now it is literally as easy as unzipping one and zipping on a QuickZip sheet.

Now she doesn't even ask me anymore- she just asks the kids to change their own sheets. It is so easy! You just zip on the new one:

You can see how it works here. The fitted part goes on UNDER The bed (opposite of most sheets and then the top part, on the top of the bed, is the zipper. You add the top zippered sheet on top of the bed. It is like a HUGE pillow case for your mattress, but easily changes because the "opening" is at the top. It is designed like a fitted sheet, but the end is a zipper and then you add one more section to "close it up".)
